The Immobilien Zeitung (IZ 24/2025) reports on Lichtwart.

The current issue of Immobilien Zeitung (IZ 24/2025) features an article about Lichtwart, our start-up from East Westphalia that is committed to reducing light pollution and energy costs.

Entitled “Lichtwart dims lamps and costs,” the article highlights how our IoT-based solution controls outdoor lighting according to demand. The intelligent control system not only significantly reduces operating costs – for example, by up to 59% for a large gas station chain – but also protects people, animals, and the environment from the consequences of excessive lighting.

At the heart of this is our small module, which makes existing lighting systems smart: it dynamically adjusts brightness, communicates via a cloud platform, and ensures that lights are only on when they are really needed – for example, in motorway parking lots or advertising installations.
