World novelty: primary/secondary operation
A world first with which we define a new state of the art: With the primary/secondary operation, unnecessary and unwanted light immissions and thus also unnecessary energy consumption are prevented.
The new state of the art: with primary/secondary operation, not only are unnecessary light immissions and energy consumption avoided. The world innovation additionally avoids the loss of image and sales due to defective lighting systems.
What does the Primary/Secondary Operation add-on enable?
You know how it is: part of the illuminated advertising system fails and instead of “Your drugstore” we read “Your drug”. This does not cast a good light on the store owner – especially if the error goes unnoticed for several weeks or months.
The LichtWART module sends out the alarm and still the error is visible. Therefore, in this case, we switch off all converters in the group so that no unwanted image occurs at night. This is what we call group operation. Primary/secondary operation goes one step further: we specify one system as the primary system, e.g. the Telekom logo. Another system is then specified as a secondary system, e.g. the text “powered by”. If a part of the secondary system fails, it is switched off completely and the T logo continues to be illuminated. However, if part of the T logo fails, i.e. the primary system, then not only is this switched off, but also the “powered by”. This is a world novelty with which we are defining a new state of the art: With the primary/secondary operation, unnecessary and unwanted light immissions and thus also unnecessary energy consumption are prevented.
